Welcome to Senior School

Embrace new challenges and make meaningful contributions to the life of the School.

Growing in confidence, purpose and independence

Senior School at St Catherine’s is a time of growth, challenge and opportunity. It is a time for students to discover their strengths, explore their interests and develop a deeper understanding of who they are and who they want to become. Through learning, leadership, service, cocurricular involvement and everyday experiences, girls are encouraged to embrace new challenges, step beyond their comfort zones and make meaningful contributions to the life of the School.

Encouraged and connected

As girls take increasing ownership of their learning, they are supported within a connected and caring community that encourages confidence, independence and a strong sense of purpose. Our learning and wellbeing environments balance independence with connection. Students learn alongside one another, build relationships across year levels and develop the confidence to express their ideas, make informed decisions and navigate challenges with resilience.

Our Senior School stories

A community of care

Teachers and wellbeing staff work closely with each student, taking time to understand her strengths, aspirations and goals. Through personalised guidance and ongoing encouragement, girls are supported to pursue their interests, maintain balance and approach the future with confidence. Families remain important partners throughout this journey, helping to create a consistent network of support between home and school.

By the time they leave St Catherine’s, our students are confident in who they are and optimistic about what lies ahead. They graduate with the knowledge, character and resilience to contribute thoughtfully to their communities and embrace the opportunities and challenges of life beyond school.
