Applications closed

Applications for senior school (Years 7 to 12) are currently closed for 2024, 2025 and 2026, except for boarding and 2026 scholarship applications.

We have four standard intake years for the majority of new students: Kindergarten, Years 3, 5 and 7, with students from the junior school given prioritised entry into the senior school. 

We are unable to provide short term enrolments at St Catherine’s.

If you are considering St Catherine’s for your daughter, please complete an application to place her on our waitlist as soon as possible.

We highly recommend visiting us to see the school in action during one of our Open Mornings. 

Steps to enrolling

We have aimed to make the enrolment process as straightforward as possible, while ensuring you can get the information you need and connect with us appropriately.

Step 1: Application
Complete our online application form, taking care to ensure you provide all relevant information as required.

Applications for senior school (Years 7 to 12) are currently closed for 2024 and 2025, except for boarding and scholarship applications.

Step 2:Connect
Experience life at St Catherine's for yourself at one of our Open Mornings.

Alternatively, book a private tour or connect with us on the road at local and international expos.

Step 3: Interview
You will be invited to interview two years prior to the commencement year.

Parents and girls gather for an informal talk about the school, followed by a tour and then an interview with our leadership team.

Step 4: Offer
After we've met and if a place is available, successful candidates will receive a formal letter of offer.
Step 5: Acceptance
Parents have two weeks to accept the offer of a place.

The place will be held for your daughter once your enrolment fee has been received.

Step 6: Orientation
We do our best to get you and your daughter familiar with the school before she starts - with introductions to senior staff, uniform fittings, tours and access to the school portal available well ahead of time.

Open Mornings

Our Open Mornings allow you to experience the magic of life at St Catherine’s for yourself and discover why we’re the right school for your family.

Please note, applications for senior school are currently closed for 2024, 2025 and 2026 – except for boarding and 2026 scholarships.

2024 Open Mornings :

  • Thursday 22 August
  • Wednesday 13 November

St Cath’s Magnolia Fair and Open Day

Families are invited to join us at the 2024 Magnolia Fair, where you will have the opportunity to see the school campus in action, get a sense of the warm community and take a virtual tour of our state-of-the-art facilities available to your daughter.

There is no need to pre-register, simply join us between 10am – 4pm on Saturday 15 June and come visit the enrolments stall on the day.

All at St Catherine’s School acknowledge the Bidjigal and Gadigal people, the traditional custodians of the lands on which the school sits, and we pay our respects to Elders past and present.

We extend this respect to the continuation of the cultural, spiritual and educational practices of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
