Supporting students from regional Australia to access the opportunities of boarding at St Catherine’s:

• Means tested for students in Years 7 to 11 living in regional Australia
• Recipients must remain boarders throughout their schooling

Boarding Fee Relief – Providing financial support for regional boarding families:

• Means tested for Years 7 to 11 students living in regional Australia

Named in honour of one of St Catherine’s most influential Headmistresses, this scholarship supports students entering their senior years of schooling:

• Means tested for students entering Year 11
• For those who demonstrate academic ability, commitment to study and engagement in school life

• Covers up to 50 per cent of tuition fees for Years 11 and 12

Named after St Catherine’s founder, this scholarship supports the daughters and granddaughters of St Catherine’s alumni:

• Means tested for daughters or granddaughters of St Catherine’s alumni in Years 7 to 11
• Open to internal and external applicants
• Full or partial tuition fees covered

St Catherine’s Scholarship – Recognising students who have already contributed to the life of the Junior School community:

• Open to Year 7 applicants who have attended the Junior School from at least Year 5
• Open to internal applicants only
• Full or partial tuition fees covered

Through our partnership with the Australian Indigenous Education Foundation (AIEF), St Catherine’s is proud to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students in accessing the opportunities and experiences of a St Catherine’s education. These scholarships are offered through our partnership with the Australian Indigenous Education Foundation (AIEF) and the application process differs from other St Catherine’s scholarships.

When applications open, families can register with Academic Assessment Services (AAS) and complete the online scholarship application form.

Applications should include:

• Two most recent school reports
• Most recent NAPLAN results (external applicants only)
• Any recent awards or achievements
• A 100-word student statement: “Why should I be considered for a scholarship?”
• For means-tested scholarships, tax returns and Notices of Assessment for the past two financial years

Applicants attend a Scholarship Testing Day at St Catherine’s, conducted by AAS.

Remote testing can be arranged where required, and Music Scholarship applicants may also be invited to attend an audition.

Shortlisted students and their families will be invited to meet with members of the School’s leadership team.

Successful applicants will receive a scholarship offer and are asked to confirm acceptance within two weeks.
