St Catherine’s is for the girl who can, who wants to and will, given the opportunity and an opening. The girl who’s unique, who has spirit and passion.
We foster this individuality to help her discover her potential, develop her academic and personal abilities and feel great about her achievements whatever they might be.
At St Catherine’s, we help every girl find her own great.
Our balanced approach and supportive environment nurture a strong sense of personal ambition and the resolve to do well, to become open in mind and develop a generosity of spirit.
From Kindergarten to Year 12, every girl is given the opportunity and the support to pursue and achieve their individual success.

We are a Christian school in the Anglican tradition, and stand proud as Australia’s oldest Anglican girls’ school.
Our purpose and values are founded on the wisdom of Jesus Christ and we use the Bible’s guiding principles to help students grow in wisdom, character and knowledge regardless of their faith or background.
We value integrity, courage, relationships and service, drawing on Biblical wisdom to guide our actions as individuals and interactions as a community.
Life at St Catherine’s is about turning uncertainty into confidence, challenge into achievement, exploration into fulfilment, inertia into growth, instability into balance.
It’s about learning, designing, creating and innovating, building tenacity and a resilient mindset.
And we value what is important: integrity, courage, relationships and service, developing a good character and an open mind, living and growing as part of a community.
St Catherine’s is a vibrant learning and living environment, one in which junior and senior students are inspired to tackle a rigorous academic program and develop their skills.
Whatever age they start with us, and the individual educational journey they experience, students leave us as young women of character and intellect, ready to make their unique contribution to the world.

All at St Catherine’s School acknowledge the Bidjigal and Gadigal people of the Eora nation, the traditional custodians of the lands on which the school sits,
and we pay our respects to Elders past and present.
We extend this respect to the continuation of the cultural, spiritual and educational practices of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
