Parents and Friends Association
Our Parents and Friends Association has been an active part of the St Catherine’s community since 1934 and provides many opportunities for parents to take an active part in the life of the school.
Active and involved
The P&F organises activities which benefit the school socially and financially, building a vibrant and engaged school community. Major events include the Magnolia Fair (held every two years), Trivia Night and the Mothers’ and Fathers’ Day breakfasts.
The school continually looks for ways to further enhance the girls’ experience in the classroom and beyond, and staff often have great ideas for extra projects or equipment. The P&F raises funds to help with this via the headmistress.
P&F meetings are open to everyone and provide an excellent way to engage in a dialogue with the leadership of the school in a way that supplements the other school communications. Through our meetings parents can also be involved in where the P&F allocates its funds and help decide the topics and speakers for meetings throughout the year.
