A Community Connected
Since 1934, the St Catherine’s School Parents’ and Friends Association (P&F) has played a pivotal role in building a strong and connected St Catherine’s community.
Through social gatherings, year group activities and whole-school events, the P&F creates meaningful opportunities for parents and carers to form friendships, strengthen relationships and feel a sense of belonging and support within the life of the School.
A partnership of care
Working in partnership with St Catherine’s, the P&F helps foster a welcoming and engaged community where families feel connected, supported and invested in the shared experience of educating young women. Guided by its Committee, the P&F meets regularly, and all parents and carers are welcome to attend. Meetings are informal and inclusive, offering opportunities to connect with School leadership, share ideas and contribute to P&F initiatives.
Whether attending events, offering occasional support or simply staying informed, the P&F provides an accessible and supportive way for families to be involved in school life.

Coming together
Running for over 100 years, the biennial St Catherine’s P&F Magnolia Fair has brought together the wider school community for generations. With activities, rides, market stalls and games, the Fair is an enjoyable day out for the whole family, and an incredible way to bring current and past families together.
For more than a decade, the St Catherine’s P&F Trivia Night has brought parents and carers together for an evening of fun, laughter and friendly competition. With a unique theme each year, it’s the perfect opportunity to dress up, connect with other families and put your knowledge to the test.
To mark the beginning of each school year, parents and carers are invited to attend the annual Welcome Soirée. The first event on the P&F calendar, this gathering in week 1 of Term 1 offers an opportunity to reconnect with familiar faces, meet new families, and warmly welcome them into the St Catherine’s community.
The Mother’s Day and Father’s Day Breakfasts are cherished traditions in the St Catherine’s calendar, bringing together parents, carers and loved ones to celebrate the important role they play in their daughters’ lives. Set on the beautiful School lawn, these gatherings are filled with connection, gratitude and special moments shared between generations.
