A school shaped by philanthropy
For generations, our community has come together to champion the education of girls and young women. In 1983, this commitment was formalised through the establishment of the St Catherine’s School Foundation. Guided by a Board of current and past community members, the Foundation supports the long‑term future of the School through capital development, scholarships and educational programs that create lasting impact.
Foundation membership
Community members who contribute $1,500 or more are invited to become Foundation members. Membership reflects a shared commitment to the School’s future, with donations directed to funds that align with each supporter’s values. For further information, please contact us by emailing foundation@stcatherines.nsw.edu.au.
Indigenous Scholarship Fund
St Catherine’s has a proud history of supporting young women from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. The Indigenous Scholarship Fund enables the Foundation to expand access to a St Catherine’s education well into the future.
Faith Patterson Scholarship Fund
Named in honour of former Headmistress Miss Faith Patterson AM, this fund supports students now and in the years ahead, ensuring that talent and potential are never limited by circumstance. Gifts to this fund continue Miss Patterson’s enduring legacy.
St Catherine’s Building Fund
Foundation support has contributed to major projects including the Junior School Library, Drama Studio, Boarding House and, most recently, the Performing Arts and Aquatic Centre and Jane Barker Hall. These spaces enrich learning, wellbeing and connection across the School.
Leaving a legacy
Remembering St Catherine’s in your will is a powerful way to support future generations. Bequests help ensure that girls continue to benefit from an exceptional education. To learn more, please contact foundation@stcatherines.nsw.edu.au.
