During 2015 and following the passing of former Headmistress Miss Faith Patterson AM, the St Catherine's Foundation launched an appeal to raise funds for the
Faith Patterson Scholarship in her memory. Your gift to this fund will help build a means-tested endowment to enable future students to attend St Catherine's.
St Catherine's School has a long history of
educating young women from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island communities with
Indigenous culture playing an important role in the fabric of the school since
the 1970s. In partnership with the Australian Indigenous Education Foundation
(AIEF), the Go Foundation and the Moriarty Foundation, the St Catherine’s
Indigenous Scholarship Program offers academic excellence and a wide array of extra-curricular
experiences that build character and help to prepare our students to make their
mark in the world.
At school, we recognise the importance of our Indigenous history
and ongoing collaboration through celebrations such as National Reconciliation
week and NAIDOC day. Our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students play a
significant role in these events, which are a highlight for our whole
With your help, we are
committed to growing the Indigenous Scholarship Program for future generations
of Indigenous students.

2022 brings a focus on additional classrooms. As our education offerings continue to grow and with the school's commitment to a broad, differentiated curriculum and small class sizes we need more classrooms.
The Fielding Fellowship
Remembering the school in your will is a way of expressing the connection you have with St Catherine's, making a valuable contribution to the future of the school. The Fielding Fellowship has been established to honour and recognise members of our community for their generosity and foresight in making a bequest to the school.
St Catherine's has registered the St Catherine's School Sports Fund with the Australian Sports Foundation (ASF). A donation to St Catherine's sport will support increased participation and opportunities for our students to complement their academic achievements and help them reach their full potential. To provide the girls with the best possible training, equipment and facilities St Catherine's aquatics, rowing and tennis and general sports including dance have their own funds.
To the many families who choose to maintain an annual commitment to St Catherine's, we can't thank you enough. If you would like to know more or to make a gift to St Catherine's, please contact Mrs Marilyn Rickard, Head of Community Relations.
