Gabi Simpson was named co-vice-captain of the Australian Diamonds netball team in July 2017, while also leading the Queensland Firebirds in the inaugural Suncorp Super Netball season.
Gabi was named the Liz Ellis Diamond winner at the 2017 Australia Netball Awards, netball’s highest accolade, taking into consideration her national league and international performances. In 2018, Gabi represented Australia at the Commonwealth Games where the team won silver.
