Being part of Adelphe has provided me with so many new experiences and I have made so many friends from different years who have helped me grow as a person.”

A positive belief

Emily is described by her teachers as, “a lovely student, with a very positive outlook. She is compassionate and caring, and eager help others, inside and outside the classroom.”

Through the School’s Positive Psychology program Emily has been able to identify her key strengths and has learnt to use them to help herself and others.

She takes part in service education initiatives such as fasting for World Vision’s 40 Hour Famine and collecting money for the Salvation Army’s Red Shield Appeal and she is an active member of the School’s Christian group, Adelphe.

“Being part of Adelphe has given me many new experiences and I have made so many friends from different years who have helped me grow as a person.” Emily said.

Emily also gets involved in many extra-curricular activities. She plays in the Randwick Netball Association (RNA) and has completed her Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award, which she said she found "tough but rewarding."
