Singing success

Honey is a positive, thoughtful and inquisitive student who makes the most of every opportunity, from academics to extra-curricular activities and overseas tours.

Honey is a talented singer, musician and performer and a member of Senior Choir and A Capella chamber ensemble. She has had major roles in St Catherine’s musicals and combined performances with Scots College.

Honey says her favourite subjects are Latin, history and English. "I enjoy these subjects because I have amazing teachers and I’m very interested in the subject content," she said. "But I also love the exciting musical opportunities at the school. There are so many different ensembles for all ages and abilities. I had a lead role in the St Catherine’s production of ‘Seussical’ which was so interesting and enjoyable for me.”

As a member of Senior Choir Honey went on the 2014 ANZAC Tour of Europe.  She sang at The Hague, Arch de Triomphe and the ANZAC commemorations at Westminster Abbey. During the trip Honey and her friends enjoyed music master classes, multiple performances and exploring the sites of London, Paris, Bruges and Amsterdam, making memories they will cherish forever.
