St Catherine’s has access to great tools which I can use to enhance my learning.”

Caring and humble

Lizzie is a talented sports woman with a passion for helping people. She loves the water and has competed in the State and Australian Surf Life Saving Championships for North Bondi, winning silver for the Individual Board race, Board Rescue and the Iron Woman race.

She is a high achiever both in and out of the water, gaining top marks all round. With a competitive streak and a love for sport, Lizzie’s favourite subject is PDHPE, learning about personal health and fitness.

Lizzie’s teachers describe her as “A caring girl, humble and committed to whatever she turns her hand to.” In keeping with her nature Lizzie is also involved in service education. Wanting to help people further afield, she joined the annual trip to Nepal, volunteering with the Mitrataa Foundation, teaching English to Nepalese children.

“I really enjoy the opportunities that St Catherine’s has opened up for me, like the trip to Nepal. It was an amazing experience that I will always remember. I also love the friendships I have been able to make. St Catherine’s has access to great tools which I can use to enhance my learning.” Lizzie said.
