We were very disappointed to
hear the negative news reports around the removal of asbestos from the school
site, especially as we work so closely with Richard Crookes Constructions (RCC)
on this development. The reports are unfounded. RCC has issued the following
statement regarding their removal process:
Richard Crookes Constructions
(RCC) is in the process of removing Asbestos Containing Materials (ACM) inside
the construction work site at the St Catherine’s School in Waverley.
This work is being carried
out by appropriately licenced personnel, under the supervision of specialist
qualified consultants, in accordance with all appropriate regulations.

developed diligent procedures to identify and manage ACM on our sites and
appreciate the importance of ensuring the safety of all stakeholders,
particularly when delivering works within an operational environment.
