World Vision CEO Claire Rogers was our guest at the senior school assembly this week, encouraging us all to get behind the 40 Hour Famine Backpack Challenge. She asked the girls and their families for support, to embrace the challenge, be a change-maker and take a stand to help young refugees around the world.
The girls behind the initiative said their main motivation to join this cause was the World Vision conference they attended - they understood how their efforts will directly impact the lives of children in need.
We are so grateful that our students are engaged in helping others.
