St Catherine's holistic learning philosophy recognises the importance of a broad and challenging academic experience, complimented with a wide range of opportunities to develop important skills for life outside the classroom.
The School offers an extensive range of cocurricular activities to provide every girl with the opportunity to find out what she is interested in and what will challenge her too. These include music, competitive sport, debating and service education where achievements count towards her academic record. Other opportunities include the da Vinci Decathlon for Years 5-10.
By serving others as part of their education, the girls learn about their place and voice in the wider world. They are encouraged to push their limits in outdoor education and school competition, developing their own identity, leadership skills, communication and teamwork.
Our cocurricular programs also provide opportunities for our girls to meet others, develop social skills, increase their confidence and connect to the wider school community.

St Catherine's offers a rich program of Beyond the Curriculum (BTC) activities as well as a roster of cocurricular opportunities. These range from the arts and drama, to dance, fitness and food technology.
As well as being a lot of fun, the diverse range of these activities help the girls develop individual creative, physical and social abilities. They develop leadership abilities, prepare girls for their post-school lives and contribute to the development of well-rounded citizens.
