St Catherine's School

St Catherine's is an integrated Kindergarten to Year 12 School, with a continuous curriculum in key learning areas and common practices in classroom learning, pastoral care and co-curricular activities across our School.

We follow a curriculum that avoids repetition and allows us to focus on the requirements of each student as she progresses through the School. A differentiated curriculum allows for individual needs and further enrichment is provided outside the classroom through the co-curricular programme.

An integrated K-12 approach helps safeguard students at times of transition from Early Childhood to Primary and from Primary to Secondary schooling. It also provides a long range view of the education, needs and development of each student. A team approach to education takes students from Kindergarten to Year 12 so that strong bonds can be created between families and School.

We value each individual girl and focus on providing her with optimal educational experiences for her academic, physical, social, emotional and spiritual development.

Being on one campus allows students to move between the two areas of the School to access specialist facilities. Senior School teachers from the Senior School conduct classes in the Junior School in particular subjects. It also allows for whole school events without the need for travel. The contact between Senior and Junior School girls enhances relationships across the School and provides many opportunities for leadership at all levels.
