News: Generations of St Cath's Girls
Published: 05/03/2009

It was a family affair when current St Cath’s girls, K - 12, invited their mothers, grandmothers, aunts, cousins, older sisters and a great grandmother, all of whom are old girls to afternoon tea.

Sheila Cook from the Class of 1931 and her great grand daughters Emily and Sophie

Current staff with their daughters who are current or past students, also attended. The oldest Old Girl attending was Sheila Cook from the Class of 1931. Her daughter Helen Ward (Cook), 1959 and grand daughter Susan Valdeck (Wilson), 1985 attended St Catherine’s and her great grand daughters, Sophie and Emily Valdeck are currently in Years 6 and 8. The youngest Old Girl was Kathryn Santifort who graduated last year and attended with her sister Megan, Year 12 and Mrs Anne Johnstone brought her mother, both are Old Girls. St Cath’s stories abounded - A great success.
